Is tamiya a good brand name for high end R/C cars?

Is this a good brand to choose when Tamiya get a nitro or electric R / C car? If not, what better company to buy the R / C car from?

Can I convert an Electric RC Car to Nitro/Gas?

I have an electric RC car, A Tamiya TL-01, and am rather bored with it and would like to, as a sort of a hobby, convert it into Nitro/Gas. Is this possible and how? Any links to websites that have guides on this?

That sounds like a cool idea but its going to run you alot of money on parts and it will get very tricky. You would have to change almost all your internals, might as well buy a nitro car
