All it can do is limit the turning action if it is too extreme for the speed and/or reduce the throttle.
Gyros are used primarily on helicopters.

you can make any rc car drift with pvc pipe from hardware store and cut a piece to fit rear rims,contact hobby shop for major brands hpi,traxxas,etc

You can always build a gyroscope. You have permission.
If you build the mechanics of the gyroscope, then you will need to spin it very fast, and this is a big project. I don't know why you mention the RC car, unless you are talking about
