I recently changed a blown bulb on my 99 dodge dakota and replaced it with a brand new bulb. however it was not bright and barely
illuminated at all. i have not been able to find any reason for it. I checked to see if it was the bulb but it was

sometimes when you move the wires around to get the bulb out it will loosen or break the ground wire ,check that and see if it is loose,dodge has very thin wiring and the ground wires around the headlight area,s gave some problems,good luck.

To be frank, My car Headlights are terrible!! i can't see anything when its rainy outside. I would really like some new very very good bright ones so i can actually see the road ahead of me but i would still like them to be safe for other drivers also.

I would reccomend getting an HID kit. But dont mount them on your old headlight unit. You will need a projector. Check on EBAY.com and search up this item # (330295740967). Than search up a good HID kit that matches your bulb type. Or get some high quality
