I have a 1989 Dodge Ram Van B-250 (318 TBI engine). Last week it started ideling rough and stalling at stops. After some troubleshooting, I noticed that the EGR valve was defective. I replaced the EGR valve with a new, factory part (not aftermarket).
i wish that some of these people wouldn't answer because they just don't know what the hell they're talking about. anyway, yes its your cat. converter obviously either it was faulty or absolutely if the egr was faulty and you didn't replace it before
