Q: I have a jumper 99 (170k miles) that will not start and it will just keep starting and starting. I sense a smell of gas is inside the car and after several cranks. What could be the problem? Passlock light is on and it would blink if there was a problem.

i am shocked and amazed that you had your car to two mechenics and they found nothing wrong with it . you should deffinatly get another mechanic to look at your car . the smell of gas indicates poor venting(meaning your exhaust system is not working properly)
