Q: I think to make a road trip, driving from San Diego, a Mexican beach town in Baja California Norte. I know there are bigger towns like Rosarito Beach and Ensenada - are they beautiful?

I want to vacation in Baja California Norte at the end of March. What city is nice, safe, and kid-friendly? And if you have any recommendations on hotels, condos or rental housing, please share. Thanks!

Why is it inappropriate to say Baja California Norte?
To refer to the northern part of Baja California, simply say northern Baja California.
