Why does a radiator fan cause an increase in amps or load on a generator?
Q: The cooling fan is at the opposite end of the generator, which rotates on the shaft, I first thought of a load more / most common product, but then I doubted myself because the generator electricity if it is not powered, but diesel.

wind turbine size/type?
am trying to build a wind turbine that is capable of running an entire house from heating to tv however the location of that wind turbine is in a low wind speed area approx 5 miles per hour ,,,,my question is how many blades are preferable for low wind
for DIY, first task is to calculate how much energy you use on a daily basis, both peak and average.
Second task it to measure the average wind on an hourly basis.
